The Marvel Cinematic Universe is impossible to get away from, and we're not complaining. Since 2008, we've been able to watch some of our favorite superheroes duke it out against their greatest villains, and themselves, in live action on the big screen. No one, not even Marvel's movie master Kevin Feige, could have predicted  just how big these movies would be, grossing over twelve billion dollars across sixteen movies, and there's no sign of audience fatigue - the latest film, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, made over $800 million worldwide, and that doesn't include merchandising or video sales.

If you're a real nut for these movies, you may think you know all there is to know about them, or at least most of what there is to know about them, but do you? Do you know who was supposed to direct Thor: The Dark World? Do you know who else was up for the role of Captain America? Do you know what the original first three Marvel movies were going to be? Or what film was canceled shortly after being announced? Are you the Uatu of your friends? Do you get that reference?

The only way to know for sure is to take this Ultimate Marvel Movie Quiz!
