Did These Tag Team Wrestlers Ever Win Singles Gold?

When done right, there's nothing better in the wrestling world than a good tag team bout. As such, many wrestling fans fondly remember the days when tag team wrestling was the best thing going, with legendary pairings putting on dazzling matches time after time.

From those great times, though, there would often be the moment where the eventual break-up would come. After that, all bets are off on where each individual performer would see their career head. Some, like a Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels, would shoot to the top and become known as the best in the business, whilst others, such as sadly Jim Neidhart or Marty Jannetty, would ultimately be lost in the shuffle.

In more modern times, however, being in a tag team hasn't necessarily restricted a performer's ability to also compete for some serious singles gold. And given that the WWF and then WWE has seen World, Intercontinental, United States, European, Hardcore, and Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight titles up for grabs at various points, some tag team performers have seized the opportunity to add some individual gold to their prestigious collections.

How well do you really know your history, though? It's time to find out, and see if you know which of these famed tag team wrestlers managed to win any singles championships during their time in Vince McMahon's wrestling juggernaut.
