Showtime really hit a goldmine when they signed on with Shameless series creator, John Wells. It's been one of the network's top-rated shows, ever since its premiere in January of 2011. The name of the show is intriguing enough to draw you in, but the mirroring of the name's image is what has kept it going for 7 seasons. And yes, Shameless is every bit as shameless as the title boasts, just in case you haven't caught on yet. The show centers around the Gallagher's. Frank Gallagher (the father) could care less. He's as shameless as any sole can get. Meanwhile, his daughter, Fiona is trying to raise her younger brothers, and sister. They hustle, struggle, and squirm their way out of drastic situations, brought on by their poverty level and upbringing. No apologies necessary, because it's just who they are. Imagining the most shameful event of your life couldn't possibly come close to some of the scenes from this show! It's funny, awkward, and at times heartbreaking.
Now, about why you're here. You're probably here for one of two reasons. Either you love the show Shameless, or one of your friends shared this quiz with you, even though you've never heard of it. If you've never seen Shameless, then you should take a shot anyhow. Why? For one it's just T/F. What's there to lose? Besides, these scenes are more than just a little shameful, they're shameless. Karen was always a bit of a daddy's girl. At least until he found out that she wasn't a virgin anymore. Daddy's plan was to take Karen to a purity ball of sorts, where the group of girls were encouraged to tell all. Karen did as she was told, but wound up with her daddy calling her a wh*re. Her next moves were to dye her hair, get a nose ring, and start a vlog. She also caught Frank hopped up on prescription pills and seduced him, while vlogging the entire event. Shame on you, Karen.
T/F Carl joined the Army?
Carl was into ROTC from a young age. His plan was always to join the army, but he wasn't old enough. He ended up using his older brother, Lip's identification to get in anyway. Of course, this was something that hurricane Monica came up with and approved. She helped him with the plan and saw him off. Unfortunately, he went AWOL and tried to steal a military helicopter. That was when he found out he was bipolar, too. He eventually got locked up.
T/F Mandy ran over Karen because she didn't want her to mess up their relationship, or his plans for college?
Mandy's first crush on Shameless was Ian, but she found out he was gay. Her next crush was Lip, who was always to into Karen. Meanwhile, Karen didn't really love anyone. Karen left, then came back and was royally pissed off that life had went on without her. Karen knew Mandy was into Lip, and that she was better for him. However, that didn't stop her from trying to keep her hold on Lip. Yet, Mandy wasn't about to let Karen ruin Lip's shot a college. Mandy happened cross Karen walking... Wham! She hit her with her car. T/F?
T/F Fiona got stood up by Sean on their wedding day?
Fiona was about to walk down the aisle of her own fairytale, white wedding, in this Shameless scene. It's too bad that Frank was still mad at Fiona's soon-to-be husband, Sean. He and Sean got into a fight. Sean had pretty much kicked him out of his own house. Frank's rebuttal was to break into Sean's dinner. While there, Frank came across Sean's heroin stash. He confronted Sean and told him that he didn't want him marrying Fiona, or he'd snitch on him. Fiona was crushed when Sean didn't show.
T/F Fiona kicked an old lady out of her own laundromat and into an assisted living home?
This past season of Shameless was a tad bit different for Fiona. She got a little selfish, which was about time since everyone's mostly grown other than Liam. She even ventured into the laundry business, by talking an elderly lady, Etta down on the price and taking out a bank loan. She also promised Etta that she could remain in her apartment, over the laundromat. At least until she was made an offer that she couldn't refuse for the laundromat. Fiona sold it for more than she paid and shipped Etta to assisted living. Did Fiona really do this?
T/F Karen's dad busted her, while she was giving Ian head under the kitchen table.
Lip and Karen's relationship was a complicated one. It all started when she gave him an unexpected hummer. He was supposed to be tutoring her, when she suddenly dropped below the table. Lip later brought his brother Ian along to get a hummer, too. There Karen was. Back under the kitchen table, much like the first time. Only this time Ian was her conquest. However, this time her dad walked in and dropped an apple by the table. Oops.... He wanted to know why his daughter was hiding, but that was before he lifted the tablecloth. Busted! True, or false?
T/F In this Shameless scene: Fiona cheated on her first husband, Gus, with Steve/Jimmy. This inspired him to write a song for her called "The F Word".
Fiona sort of rushed into things with Gus. She met him at the dinner where she was working and they got married really fast. Like overnight fast. Anyways... It didn't last long because Steve, aka Jimmy popped up and she cheated on Gus with him. She confronted Gus and told him what happened. It seemed like he was going to forgive her at first, but then he asked for time. In a later Shameless scene, Gus invited her to come listen to him perform. The song was called "The F Word", only F was both for f*ck and Fiona.
T/F Frank thought he was haunted by his liver donor?
In this scene of Shameless, Frank thought his liver donor was haunting his lver. It all started a while, after his liver transplant. The parents of the organ donor (who died), thus leaving their organs for transplant patients, threw a party to see the lives their son saved with his organs. Of course, this made them an easy target for Frank, who's always looking to take advantage of these situations. He pretended that he could feel the presence of their son in his body. This led Frank to convince himself that he was seeing their son. True, or false?
T/F Debbie drugged Matty at a party so she could get pregnant?
Matty was Debbie's first big crush/relationship. She was only fourteen at the time, and Matty was a few years older. Debbie was so into him and glued to the idea of losing her virginity to him that she pushed him away. Although, Shameless' Debs, has never been one to back from what she wants so easily. She did steal a real-life baby, after all. Debbie got him to come to a party, got him drunk on moonshine, and pretty much date-raped him. Not only did she lose her virginity that night, but she also conceived Frannie. True, or false?
T/F Frank had Carl help him insert alcohol through his anus?
Things get extra Shameless in a scene where Frank wants to drink, but can't without puking up blood. This is an effect of his liver failure. Everyone else had gotten over helping Frank, but Carl seemed to want a bond with his dad, despite his neglectful ways. Carl quickly becomes Frank's go-to guy for everything because he's bedridden much of the time. In this scene, he gets Carl to gather wine and a few other items, before instructing him on how he's getting the alcohol up his anus to ease his withdrawal symptoms. Is this scene true, or false?
T/F Fiona took a cop's virginity, in his patrol car?
There was this cop named Tony. He really had it bad for Fiona. Hell, he was even a big help in finding Frank when Steve dropped him off in Canada. This was part of the reason Fiona accepted when he asked her out. It also helped that she was ticked off at Steve, for dropping Frank off in Canada. The two hit it off big time! They got busy in his patrol car, in front of a school function. The kids came out and busted them. Tony totally blew it later, by telling Fiona she was his first. True/False?
T/F Monica was a great mom in the opening scene of Shameless, but that was before she got diagnosed with bipolar disorder and left?
Monica was a great mom in the opening scenes of Shameless. She went shopping, cooked, took the kids out, and loved to dance. She even helped Ian with his boyfriend troubles. However, she was diagnosed with bipolar, just as her great mom facade began to crumble. Monica left following the diagnosis, leaving only a letter behind explaining that she felt her family would be better off without her. She later came back with a girlfriend who was a truck driver. Was Monica there for her kids at the start of the show?
T/F Frank tracked down his long-lost daughter, Sammi because he needed money from her for his transplant?
Frank had another daughter named Sammi, that nobody knew about. He was ready to get his new liver transplant, but needed the money to pay for the black market surgery. His only option was to befriend his long-lost daughter. He tracked her down and pretended to be a lonely old dying gut. She actually fell in love with him and gave him the money, but then she found out the truth. Luckily all that had transpired was an almost-kiss. Let's just say Sammi was pissed when she found out that Frank was her father.

Karen wasn't ready for a baby. She knew that when she was pregnant. She wanted to sell her baby to a rich couple, rather than keep the child. That didn't stop Sheila from trying to convince her to keep the baby. Lip was distraught also, because she had pegged him as her unborn child's father, but she wouldn't include him in her decision. However, Hymie turned out to be Chinese. This might've been a game changer for Lip, who was there for his birth, but Sheila was all in. In fact, she even stole Hymie from the hospital. T/F?
T/F Frank tried to sober up, but Fiona, Debbie, and Lip forced him to drink again?
A doctor and her interns were so impressed when Frank woke up from blood poisoning, that they signed him up for a $3000 study. The only problem was that he had to stay sober for two whole weeks. This was a hard task for Frank, but he was managing by staying busy. Everything was good at first, and everyone was having a blast with dad. That was until Frank started doing his own demolition work on the house. Everyone except Carl and Liam knew it wouldn't last. Debs called it first. They tased Frank and poured liquor down his throat.
T/F Frank once took the blame of a robbery for Carl?
In one Shameless scene, Frank got Carl to go back to the foster home where he and Liam had been staying. Carl was still pretty young back then, but he had remembered the code to get in and out of the couples fancy home. He told Frank about it and they paired up as father, son thieves for a night. It wasn't long before the couple figured out who had done it. The cops showed up to take Carl to jail, but Frank came forward, in Carl's defense and took the blame. Did this scene really happen on Shameless?

Lip was the smartest, out of all the Gallagher children. He was the one Fiona had pegged for college, but Lip had history of self-sabotage. He wasn't even going to apply at first, but Mandy applied for him. Of course, Mandy didn't last. It wasn't long before Lip had meet a new girl at college, who also didn't last, either. Lip left her high and dry when he met his hot professor, Helene. She was into Lip. She took him home and everything. Her husband came home later, but he was okay with it. In fact, he wanted in. T/F?
T/F Ian signed up for the army, where he stole a military helicopter and then went AWOL.
When Ian fell in love with Mickey, only for him to marry Svetlana, he signed up for the army using Lip's identification. He came back before long, but soon after it was discovered that he had stolen a military helicopter and went AWOL. The army was looking for Lip to arrest him. This was when his family first found out that he was bipolar, passed down from Monica, of course. He was eventually caught and court martialed, but his diagnosis helped him to get out of the trouble.
T/F Debbie stole a girl toddler from her birthday party?
11-year-old, Debbie Gallagher, once stole a girl toddler named Casey from her birthday party. The tot had a specific princess outfit on that had shrunk when Debs washed it. There was already a police-led search, by the time Fiona found out what happened. They knew things would look funny to the cops, since Casey didn't have her princess outfit anymore. The family pulled together and replaced the princess dress. Then they made anonymous false-sighting reports all over town. Meanwhile, Debs was making her way back with the tot that she had supposedly found walking alone. This made Debs the hero!
T/F Frank was supposed to show up for Carl at parent's night at the school, but showed up for Shelia's daughter, Karen instead.
Carl was in big trouble at school, in the first season of Shameless. It was parent's night and they expected none other than a parent, to be there for Carl. Otherwise he would be put in foster care. Frank refused to go. Later, Sheila begged Frank to go for Karen, after she tried to leave the house, but failed. Karen also made a deal to help Frank hide from some guys. Frank agreed and went. Fiona and Carl saw him there and were pissed, seeing as how he'd never gone to the school for any of his own children.
T/F Debbie had Frannie in a tent at Queenie's commune?
Queenie's appearance in Frank's life was every bit the whirlwind that Hurricane Monica brings with her visits. She helped each part of the Gallagher family, albeit in odd, motherly, and somewhat dysfunctional ways, like helping Lip with his little "problem". She also whisked Debbie and Frank away to a commune for Debs to give birth. Frank didn't like it there because he ended had to share Queenie with the other guys. Frank ended up getting into their growhouse of poppy plants, so he ended up rushing Debs out in the midst of a shootout, just after Frannie was born. T/F?
T/F In this Shameless scene, Carl had a friend who killed his dad over a bike?
While Carl was away at juvie, he had acquired a new friend named Nick. Nick was his homeboy/ bodyguard. Carl could threaten shop owners, just by pointing at Nick out front and scare them into handing over anything he wanted. Nick had told Carl that he his dad had traded his bike for a "rock". One day, Nick slipped away after his new bike was stolen. Carl finally found him, but he had already killed his dad. He told Carl he should leave, cause the police were on the way. Carl reluctantly left. T/F?
T/F Frank had a fling with an oncologist with a death wish.
Frank met Bianca at one of his post-transplant checkups. He soon found out that she was an oncologist with a death wish. Bianca wanted to live in Frank's shoes. They got drunk on expensive liquor, did the best drugs, and he even bought her a gun, which she used to play a frightening game of Russian Roulette. Her family held an intervention, but she fled to the Bahamas, with Frank tagging along. While he was sleeping one night, she committed suicide by walking into the ocean. Did Frank really have a fling with a hot oncologist?
T/F Steve told Veronica that he was a high school dropout with an internet startup business?
Fiona and Veronica first met Steve when he went after a guy who stole Fiona's purse. He also stood up for them against a bouncer at the club. They noticed that he had a nice car, when he brought them back to Fiona's house. While there he told Veronica that it was a company car. He also explained that he was a high school dropout, who had his own internet startup company. Vee's husband Kev asked her about Steve's flashy car when he saw it and she relayed the story to him. Is this what Steve told Veronica?
T/F Debbie had to take Liam to school for show and tell because Fiona picked up an extra shift at the hockey arena?
The was an earlier scene in the Pilot episode of Shameless, where Debbie offered to take Liam to school for show-and-tell. As usual, it was a busy morning for the Gallagher's and everyone was in a hurry to eat breakfast. Fiona mentioned that she had picked up an extra shift at work, for a friend. Nobody else could take Liam, but Debs piped up that she would take him to school for show and tell. Fiona headed off to work and showed up the concession stand at the arena for work.

This was one wild Shameless scene. Following Carl's release from juvie, he was different. He was streetwise and ready to behave as if he was a grown up breadwinner, by providing dirty money to the Gallagher household. Frank couldn't have been prouder, with Debs pregnant and Carl making it big. A large part of Carl's income was from selling guns in the school bathroom. Not just to other students, but teacher's, too. In fact, the principal even called Carl into the office to buy one himself. He was worried about school shootings, imagine that. True, or false?
T/F Debbie almost drowned a bully at the swimming pool?
Frank tried to tell Debbie that going to the city pool was a bad idea. He told her to learn to hold her breath for 90 seconds before going. Debs managed, but was bullied by girls who were more developed. The girls ended up putting ketchup on her chair to make it seem she'd had her period. In the next Shameless pool scene, Debs holds one of the girls under with sandbags, until she passes out. Afterwards she ran home and barged in triumphant screaming "That's right! No one f*cks with the Gallagher's!". She didn't see the social worker. T/F
T/F Carl was able to get into military school with the help of his ex-girlfriend's father.
Carl had trouble getting into the military school to begin with. They were only taking in so many students, and only had openings left for minorities, apparently. They didn't even want to listen when Carl explained that he was a minority, himself. He still got in with the help of Dominique's father, though. Luther didn't like Carl at all, when they met. However, Carl's charm and persistence in chasing Dominique won him over in the end. Plus, he even showed Carl that his Dominique wasn't worth staying behind for. Did Luther really help Carl get into military school?
T/F Sheila had a box of "toys" that Frank grew to love?
Frank needed a new home, so he decided to seduce his neighbor, Sheila. He had found out that Karen's dad had just left because of Karen's bad-girl phase. Frank also saw Sheila as an easy target because she was agoraphobic and never left the house. He had her convinced that he worked at Kev's bar, The Alibi. However, Frank didn't know about her toy fetish. Initially Frank thought the toys were for her, but he soon realized that Sheila expected to use them on him. He was skittish about it at first, but grew to enjoy it.
T/F Debbie's pregnancy was accidental and she was scared to tell Fiona?
Debbie had always wanted her own baby, ever since she was a wee little girl. She even stole one once to prove this fact. However, she didn't expect to get pregnant so young. She was also scared to tell Fiona, when she found out that she was pregnant. Eventually, Fiona did find out and was supportive in Debs choices. She even went to the planned parenthood office with Debs. Meanwhile, this led to Fiona finding out that she was pregnant herself. Was this scene true, or false?
T/F Steve dropped Frank off in Mexico to get rid of him for Fiona?
Steve could tell that Frank was dragging Fiona and the rest of the Gallagher's down. Especially, when Frank came home and punched Ian in the nose. This was Frank's drunken reaction, after Karen's dad had bloodied up own nose and said something about keeping Ian away from his daughter. Either way, it was still wrong. Steve made sure Frank was drunk. Then dropped him off in Mexico. He didn't realize that everyone would miss Frank so much, or that Fiona would be pissed. They all thought Frank was dead. Steve had to smuggle Frank back over the border. T/F?
T/F Carl went to jail because Frank set him and Chuckie up?
Carl was looking for advice from Frank in this episode of Shameless. He had been dealing drugs, but had just been given his first smuggling gig. Unfortunately, he thought Frank would give him sound advice. Although, Frank's idea was for Carl to put the drugs on Chuckie. Chuckie would never be suspected, claimed Frank. The plan would've worked had Frank not been made and placed an anonymous tip about drugs at the bus station. The drug dogs were on poor Chuckie like he had bacon in his pocket. Was Frank really shameless enough to set up his young son and grandson?
T/F Fiona's boss found out she was sleeping with his brother when he caught them in his apartment?
Fiona appeared to be headed in the right direction, when she landed that fancy corporate job. It was a slight indicator that things weren't going to work out when she started to date her boss, Mike. Then, things took a big turn for the worse after she met his brother, Robbie. Fiona couldn't seem to resist herself around Robbie, who was all but stalking Fiona. The first time they hooked up was at Mike's apartment, while he was passed out drunk. However, Mike got up to go to the bathroom and caught them. Is this how this scene went down?
T/F Carl's family begins screaming for him to lawyer up and snitch after realising that he's being interrogated?
Carl was working up the ranks from drug dealer, to drug runner, but got nervous. Frank suggested that Carl mule the drugs on Chuckie. Chuckie was a chubby, goofy kid about the same age as Carl, who shouldn't have been suspected. However, there were drug dogs at the bus station. The drug dogs sniffed out the heroine instantly. Carl ran, leaving Chuckie to dea. Of course, Carl was picked up later when Sammi singled him out anyway. The Gallagher's were quick to fling themselves to the police window screaming for Carl to lawyer up and snitch. True, or false.
T/F Frank's mother was in jail for a meth lab explosion that killed two college students.
This Shameless scene is from back when Monica and her girlfriend, Bob, were trying to take Liam. They had a DNA test done on Liam, which surprisingly came back as Frank's, but Lip and Ian also got one. Ian turned out not to be Frank's. Lip and Ian went to see their grammy in prison, where she complained about her long sentence for blowing up a meth lab. However, her grandsons were quick to correct her. They suggested that maybe the hefty sentence was because of the two college kids who died in the fire. Was this why Grammy is in prison?
T/F Fiona had a girlfriend from jail, who overdosed after she got out?
This Shameless scene came after Fiona's release from jail. She had served months for possession of the cocaine that Liam had digested and overdosed from. She had begun working at a dinner job, set up by her parole officer. Things were going great for Fiona, when her girlfriend, Sadie, from jail got released, too. Sadie wanted to rekindle things, but Fiona was seeing Sean. One day she didn't show up for work, just after a court date to get her kids back had went bad. Fiona suspected that she might have overdosed, which she had. Did Fiona have a girlfriend from jail who overdosed?
T/F The Gallagher's faked Frank's death to hide him from some guys that wanted to kill him to settle a debt?
In this scene from Shameless, Frank was hiding out from some thugs, who wanted to settle a debt with his fingers, toes, or possibly even his death. Veronica got him some strong tranquilizers. They set Frank up in a coffin and the house was set up like a viewing. Meanwhile, Frank wouldn't shut up about why his family owed it to him to pull this off. Lip socked him, and the effects from the punch/tranquilizers set in. The thugs believed he was dead. Although, they waited for the burial, which took some impressive switching between Frank's body and some meat.
T/F Ian broke Mickey out of prison and ran away with him.
The last time Mickey went to prison it was for some serious charges. (He had tried to kill Sammi.) This wasn't a light sentence for him. Ian broke things off with him at a visit, but came back to break Mickey out, while he was off his meds. They were last seen headed to Mexico, following Monica's funeral. Ian even had to dress Mickey as a woman to get him over the border. Did this scene really happen this way on Shameless?
T/F Carl thought that he gave Dominique gonorrhea, despite not having it himself?
Hey! It can happen, right? Following his release from juvie, Carl went through a lot of changes. He was dealing guns and lost his best friend. Then he toned things down, got a legitimate job, and a new girlfriend, named Dominique, whose father is a cop. In this Shameless episode, Dominique's father tried to chase Carl down for giving her gonorrhea, but when Carl went to get checked out he was told he didn't have it. He went home and questioned his brothers on how he could've given it to Dominique, if he didn't have it himself. Well, duh. T/F?
T/F Jimmy was forced to watch as his wife's dad killed her boyfriend?
In this Shameless scene, Jimmy had returned with a secret wife. Jimmy had only married Estefaña because her dad was a Brazilian drug lord, who wanted his daughter to stay on US soil as Jimmy's wife. Meanwhile, Estefania had another guy who she loved. This worked out fine because Steve was seeing Fiona. They had switched living arrangements. Everything was fine, until her father showed up. He killed her boyfriend and threatened Jimmy. Yep, sounds a bit drastic, but forcing Jimmy to help discard his body was what came next. Did this really happen?
T/F Monica called social services on Fiona and the kids to get Liam back?
Monica, or as her children like to call her, Hurricane Monica, showed back up after being gone for some time. She whirled through with her new girlfriend, who was a black truckdriver. Her family was happy to see her, but that was before they knew she was there to take only Liam, because he was biracial. The other Gallagher's refused to let her have him. Fiona was living the life for a minute there. She had a nice corporate job, and she was seeing her boss, Mike. That all changed when she met his drug addict brother, Robbie. It wasn't long before she was banging him too. When Mike found out Fiona was worried that she'd lost that nice corporate job. Robbie stopped by with some cocaine, but she kicked him to the curb. He left the cocaine behind and Fiona had a party because she found out that she wasn't fired. Liam found the baggy, overdosed, and Fiona went to jail. True, or false?
T/F Monica left a bag of drugs in her coffin for every member of the Gallagher family?
Season 7 of Shameless brought on a combination of wild and sad storylines. The Gallagher's might have grown up without the help of Hurricane Monica, but this didn't make her passing any easier for them. Especially, Frank. Monica was still the love of his life, despite their odd love/hate relationship. Monica knew she was dying when she came back this time. What wasn't expected were the drugs that Monica planted in her own casket before dying. A baggy of cocaine per family member. How's that for an inheritance? Did this scene really happen?
T/F Mickey's dad tried to force the gay out of him by making him sleep with Svetlana?
Mickey's dad wasn't the forgiving type and had a bad temper. Plus, he was a huge homophobe. That's why things didn't go over well, when he caught Ian and Mickey in the act. (Mickey is bisexual, but in love with Ian. Ian is super-gay, and in love with Mickey.) His first response was to beat the crap out of Mickey. Then he left and brought Svetlana, who was a prostitute, back with him. He preceded to force Mickey to do the deed with Svetlana, in front of Ian. Is this how this scene happened?
T/F Frank has three nuts, but almost lost one due to a false cancer scare?
Frank was rather proud of his three nuts. Although, that was before he went to a check-up and was told that the third wheel was a tumor. The doctor got him spooked when she suggested that he just didn't want to know if he had cancer. Frank agreed to have the nut tested. While waiting for the results, Frank even went to a breast cancer meeting and gave a speech about breasts and nuts that kill. It turned out that Frank was stressed over nothing. The tumor was benign, and Frank was able to keep his third nut. T/F?
T/F Veronica fell in love with Svetlana and picked her over Kevin?
Veronica and Kevin found themselves in a bad spot after the twins came. Vee wanted Kev's time, but he wanted her to focus on the babies. They split up for a while, but Svetlana alternated between helping them with the babies. She even did wifely duties for both Kev and Vee, only at separate intervals. It mostly depended on who was home. Vee ended up falling in love with Svetlana and her "skills". She picked Svetlana over Kevin and moved on with Svetlana instead. Did Veronica really move on with Svetlana?
