Time to play a game of "Date or Divorce" with this lovely batch of Marvel ladies. We have heroines like Black Widow, Susan Storm, and Nakia to decide about. All three of those ladies have used their power to step up and fight back against the villains of their world. We also have normal women from the Marvel universe like Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, and Pepper Potts. These women are not who we think of when we think of "fighting" heroines but we still consider them when looking over a lineup of Marvel ladies because some of our favorite male heroes love them!
We also have female villains from the Marvel Comic Universe like Medusa, Hela, and Mystique. These three women use the powers they were granted to wreak havoc and they stir up drama and trouble for the good guys all the time! Some of the super strong ladies from the Marvel Comic Universe have a beautiful appearance while others look creepy and maybe even weird! There are plenty of Marvel women to think about and consider for this quiz so let's get right to it! And while we are at it, we will discover what superpower everyone secretly has!
Gamora?
Gamora is one of the coolest heroines we know from the Guardians of the Galaxy squad. She has green skin and it helps us identify her easier among all of these other Marvel ladies. She is known for being very intelligent. She is overly brilliant and always seems to know what to say and what to do. She is smart when it comes to figuring out her way in tricky situations. Does a green gal like Gamora get a date?
Black Widow?
Black Widow is such a babe! She has one of the most recognizable heroes faces from the entire Avengers squad. She fights her battles alongside the likes of Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk! How cool is that? She started off with red hair but in later movies, she chose to go blonde. In the final movie, Avengers: Endgame, she decided to go back to her red hair which looked really good on her. Does Black Widow deserve a date?
Wanda Maximoff?
Wanda Maximoff is the gorgeous and powerful gal we know and love from the Avengers super squad. She adds a high level of fierceness to every battle she takes part in. She feels all of her emotions so deeply and that is why she went so hard against Thanos in the newest Avengers movie once she was able to face off against him, up close and personal. She is not a heroine we would want to lose out on ever.
Nebula?
Nebule sure does look creepy... and she talks creepy too... but the actress underneath the blue metallic makeup is actually quite pretty. Her hair is all hidden underneath the metal head covering so it is sort of hard to picture what she really looks like. She is the sister of Gamora and the daughter of Thanos. She spends many years thinking she will remain loyal to Thanos but as the years move, she changes her tune and makes different life choices.
Jean Grey?
Jean Grey is a heroine from the X-Men fighting squad. She has the power of telepathy which is super impressive. Not everyone has a power that strong but she does and she uses it to her benefit. She has red colored hair and a serious looking face! That is because she knows how important it is to control her power and make sure that bad guys are taken down at any chance she can get. Does she deserve a date?
Rogue?
Is it time to go on a fun and romantic date with a heroine like Rogue? Or is it time to ask Rogue for a divorce? She has powers that might hurt the guy she loves which used to make her feel very sad and isolated. She ended up gaining control over her power and choosing to accept it and accept herself for who she was. At first, she wanted to be cured of her power but she ended up changing her mind.
Domino?
Domino is a cool heroine from the world of Marvel. "the woman who would become known as Domino was actually the result of a top-secret government breeding program intended to develop the perfect tool, the clandestine super-soldier program Project Armageddon. Domino was the only test subject to survive, but her 'luck' power was deemed a failure to meet the project's goals. Domino's biological mother broke her out of the project." Is Domino worth a date or will she be facing a divorce?
Susan Storm?
Susan Storm is the beautiful heroine we know and love from the Fantastic Four fighting squad. She is the only girl from this power squad, unlike the many girls who are in the Avengers of the X-Men. She has the power to disappear whenever she feels like doing so. That means that she can make herself go completely clear at any moment and there is nothing anyone around her can do about it. She can easily escape from bad guys.
Psylocke?
Psylocke is a cool heroine who is played by a gorgeous actress named Olivia Munn. Olivia Munn has been in her fair share of movies and TV shows over the years. This role is surely one of her coolest ones. She fights back against bad guys and she looks incredible doing it! She wears a purple suit that shows a lot of skin and she can soar through the air with long jumps and leaps that others can't possibly do.
Storm?
This lady is named Storm! Storm is a cool heroine from the X-men fighting team. She has white hair to match the white clouds in the sky. She is able to control thunder, rain, and lightning. That is a very cool power to have! Her name comes from the fact that she can control the storms in the sky to work for her to her benefit. She was once played by Halle Berry but another actress has taken over the role.
Pepper Potts?
Pepper Potts is the lovely wife of Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man. They come together after she spends years working as his secretary. It only makes sense for them to end up together because she is the only woman who is patient enough to deal with all of his shenanigans and babble. She seems like she does not want to date him at first but we all know that she likely secretly had feelings for him the whole time.
Mantis?
Mantis looks a little creepy because of the antennas growing out of her forehead but aside from those two things, she is actually a super cute girl from the Marvel comic universe. She fights alongside the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy fighting squad. That means she fights with heroes like Gamora and Star-Lord all the time! How cool is that? Is Mantis the type of heroine who deserves a date or a divorce? Try to decide about her.
Hela?
Hela is a villain no one wants to face off against... and for good reason. Thor deals with her and he really dislikes those interactions. She is truly a bad person to be around. She tries to steal his hammer, like what we see pictured here. Unfortunately for her, in the world of Marvel comics, villains usually never prevail for long. She might have been on top for a while but it surely did not last for a long time.
Maria Hill?
Cobie Smulders is the actress behind this role. She once said, "The hardest thing is getting fake hit. You really have to sell it. Somebody comes at you and stops a couple of inches from your face. You have to react like it's painful. In my training, those were the days I was more sore, doing gut punches or getting thrown against walls. You're moving your body in a way that's not natural." (Brainy Quote). She does a great job playing Maria Hill!
Shuri?
Shuri is from the Black Panther movie but fans got to see her arrive once again in the Avengers: Endgame movie. She used her brains and her wit to charm everyone before but in the most recent movie, we did not get to see her use a lot of brain or wit. She barely showed up at the end of the film during the battle scene. She is a great girl to date from the Marvel Comic universe. Decide now!
Wasp?
Wasp is an amazing heroine from the Ant-Man movie. She fights alongside him and actually helps him out in major ways. The fact that she is able to fly and he is not to fly really makes a difference between the two of them. She has no problems picking him up and flying him around with her to get wherever they need to go. She is a very smart and powerful heroine with a great attitude and desire to win.
Mary Jane Watson?
Time to either date or divorce a Marvel gal like Mary Jane Watson. She has red hair, pale skin, and a pretty smile! She comes to use from the old school world of Spider-Man. New actors and actresses have taken over since these movies were released. So what will it be for a Marvel lady like Mary Jane Watson? Does Mary Jane Watson deserve to be taken on a date for this round or will she be getting a divorce instead?
Captain Marvel?
Captain Marvel is the strongest and most powerful heroine of all. In fact, she is stronger than the male heroes from the world of Marvel too. Yes, that is right. She is stronger than Iron Man and the Hulk! She wears a suit with red, gold, and blue colors incorporated into and it makes her look super amazing and sort of patriotic. She flies through the sky and takes bad guys down whenever she sees them in front of her way.
Mystique?
Mystique is a Marvel lady with a pension for bad behavior. She has the power to shapeshift into just about any person she wants. She chooses to make herself look like certain people in the world around her in order to make things harder for enemies. Her enemies are actually the good guys which is a bad thing for fans and viewers! We would all prefer that someone with powers like hers was fighting on the good side, not the bad side.
Sharon Carter?
This Marvel lady is one of the coolest ones to date! "Sharon Carter is the daughter of Harrison and Amanda Carter, two wealthy adults, and the niece of Margaret 'Peggy' Carter, a heroic freedom fighter during World War II who had shared many adventures. When Peggy returned home in need of hospitalization from traumatic moments, she told her niece many stories." Decide now about this Marvel blonde. Does she deserve a date night or a divorce for this quiz round?
Jessica Jones?
Jessica Jones is a rad heroine from the Marvel comic universe. She is so great in fact that she has her own TV show. It was very popular on Netflix for many years and seasons. Netflix fans are pretty picky about what they like and what they watch so the fact that her show is so popular really does speak volumes. She uses her powers to help innocent people and that is what makes her so likable and easy to watch.
Elektra?
According to Fandom, "Elektra Natchios was born on a Greek island near the Aegean Sea to Hugo Kostas Natchios and his wife Christina Natchios. She grew up with her older brother Orestez Natchios. Elektra's mother was taken down by enemies of her dad while vacationing on a yacht. After her mother's passing, Elektra grew up close to her dad but was plagued by visions and voices with no known source. She reacted to them through self-harming herself." Gwen Stacy?
Gwen Stacy is a great character from the world of Spider-Man. Emma Stone is the actress behind the role. Emma Stone once said, "I have a friend who says that roles choose you at the time that you need them most, and you have to believe, as an actor, if you didn't get a part that you really, really wanted, and it went to someone else, it was because it was theirs, to begin with." (Brainy Quote). She is amazing!
Okoye?
This is one heroine that no one wants to mess with. She might be smiling in the picture here but she is definitely a force to be reckoned with. She caused a man who loved her to fall to his knees before her and stop his team of warriors from continuing on into battle. She carried such a high level of power in a simple stare... she did not even have to raise her first or say a single word.
Kitty Pryde?
According to Fandom, "Kitty Pryde's life was changed when she learned that she had the mutant power to phase through solid materials. After being taken by the White Queen, Kitty joined the X-Men as its spoiled, bratty, easily angered member. During her years fighting for the peaceful coexistence of mutants and humans most of her life, Kitty has grown into a skilled and dependable member who would become the leader of the X-Men." Does Kitty get a date or not?
Peggy Carter?
This Marvel woman is one we all noticed in the latest Avengers movie. In Avengers: Endgame we saw her through the glass window going about her life, unbothered and unaware of what was happening in the room right next to her! She was blissfully ignorant about seeing the man she loved and adored! We also got to see her spend time in his arms at the end of the film in a flashback moment which was very romantic and sweet.
Jane Foster?
Jane Foster is a female character from the world of Thor. Thor loves her deeply and he even spends time feeling sad about the fact that they are no longer together in the most recent Marvel film, Avengers: Endgame. In the movie, we see her waking up and leaving one of the stones to be taken by the crew. She does not ever lay eyes on Thor in his new, heavier state which is probably a good thing for him.
Christine Palmer?
According to Fandom, "Christine Palmer left her home in 'an exclusive Midwestern suburb' against her father's wishes, intending to "make a new life without her father's money". She trained as a nurse and accepted a position at Metro-General Hospital." She comes to us from the world of Doctor Strange and she is played by a lovely actress named Rachel McAdams in the movies. The comic version of her is drawn really amazingly well also. Does she get a date or not?
Medusa?
Medusa once said, according to Fandom, "I am an accidental queen, Karnak. I never asked for this office. Ahura will take his dad's place on the throne as soon as he is of age. I will not allow anyone to usurp his succession. So I am queen, and I will hold the throne in faith for my son. And I will stay queen until he is fit to rule." She speaks creepy and she sure looks creepy! She has long red hair and pale skin.
Sif?
Sif is a warrior from the world of Thor. She fights alongside Thor in battle which is pretty cool because she enters into every fight with a sense of strength and dignity. She never worries about herself getting hurt or lost in the shuffle... she simply remains loyal to Thor and does whatever it takes to make sure he wins against the villains they are facing. She seems to be romantically interested in Thor but he does not feel the same.
Nakia?
Nakia is a great heroine who comes to us from the world of Black Panther. She is a hard worker with a dedicated heart to justice. She loves T'Challa but before indulging in moments of romance, she chooses to focus on the wellbeing of humanity and mankind as a whole. She knows that the world will crumble if she does help in every way she can to make sure that the bad guys in her universe are being taken down.
Misty Knight?
This heroine is super cool and she comes to us from the MCU. According to Fandom, "Misty rejected settling for a desk job and instead left the N.Y.P.D. to start a private investigation business with Colleen Wing, Knightwing Restorations, Ltd. The Cult of Kali attacked Colleen's home and Misty tried to protect her friend. Mistaking Iron Fist for one of the cultists, he was forced to knock her out as he rescued the Wings." Is she the type to date?
Ancient One?
This Marvel lady is pretty cool and we all know why! It is because she is a teacher who knows how to teach others the skills and the trade of what she knows how to do so well. She knows how to use magic and channel it in ways that allow her to succeed and achieve in life. She teaches Doctor Strange all about these things and he, in turn, uses the knowledge that she gave to him in battle.
Jemma Simmons?
This gal is one of the best. "She was recruited by Agent Phil Coulson to be a part of his new team along with Leo Fitz. She was brought on board because of her expertise as a biochemist. On her first mission, she and Fitz designed the 'Night-Night' in order to capture the superhuman Mike Peterson, as his body was chemically unstable." (Fandom). This Marvel girl is truly a fighter and always stands up boldly for what she believes in.
Daisy Johnson?
According to Fandom, "Daisy Johnson, alias Quake, was at first believed to be a mutant with seismic earthquake-producing ability, her powers come from her status as the illegitimate daughter of Calvin Zabo, the supervillain known as Mister Hyde, and a woman with Inhuman lineage. Before taking the Hyde Formula, Zabo still had tampered with his DNA. Calvin had regular 'business' with a woman named Kim Johnson, who immediately gave her up for adoption."
