There is actually an interesting difference between the perception of people with dogs versus the type of people that live with a number of cats. While dog owners are seen as empathetic and friendly, someone living with a large group of cats is often shunned as antisocial and completely devoid of a life. Yet, cat lovers don't ever seem to pay attention to this stigma surrounding their pets since there are so many amazing breeds that can shatter the stereotypes surrounding cats.

Dog owners often like to make it seem like they have the superior species of pet and they try and remark that cats aren't very affectionate or even acknowledge their owners. Yet, that is actually far from the truth. Those that are familiar with different cat breeds understand that there are some cats that are known to play fetch with their owners and even have a pushy attitude towards the amount of attention they want when their owners finally make it through the door. However, not all cat owners want to spend hours and hours playing with their cats or spending their days surrounded by a gaggle of cats throughout their home. Some cat owners just like one or two cats to round out their happy family and don't even get close to the stereotypical cat owner. Test yourself regarding cat breeds and see if we can guess if you live alone or not.
