There are a few things that are guarantees during the summer. Road trips to the beach, cold drinks and of course, summer hits on the radio. It's impossible to avoid them and songs released in the months leading up to the warm weather are all in competition to be that one song that stands the test and becomes the hit everyone knows as the Summer Song for that particular year. It's no denying the competition is fierce during the summer months for radio play and downloads on streaming service.
Someone who would know a thing or two about summer hits is Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, who has put out his own fair share of summer songs over his career. Levine has received three Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards and is a coach on the hit show The Voice, helping would-be musicians hopefully earn their dreams of becoming professionals.
