Can You Survive This 90s Horror Movies Quiz?

In the 1980s, it seemed impossible to escape horror movies. Some of the greatest horror movies of all time came out in those ten years, including The Shining, Poltergeist, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. By the end of the decade, horror movies seemed to hit a wall - people were getting tired of immortal killers like Freddy and Jason and wanted to see something different.

Luckily, horror filmmakers answered the call. Along with some great new slasher villains, a trove of interesting remakes and new concepts gave horror fans plenty to be happy about. Not every horror movie of the 1990s was good, and some were downright terrible, but they all shared a very 90s feel, a touch that no horror movies made before the decade started, or since it ended, has been able to recapture. Some of it comes down to the soundtracks, some of it is the way the characters dressed, but most of all, it seemed to be that feeling everyone had in the 1990s that Francis Fukuyama called "The End of History". With the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, there was just a sense that there just wasn't much to worry about anymore - that the world was all settled and from then on, there would be no big problems. Clearly, we were wrong, and horror knew it.

So how well do you remember the horror movies of the 1990s?
