Can You Name The Star Wars Movie By The Quotes?

Who knew that a film that started out with: "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", would become the world that it is today. The franchise began in 1977 with the release of Star Wars, which later would be subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope in 1981. It became a worldwide phenomenon. Many adults remember playing with the Millenium Falcon by Kenner when they were younger, and cringe that they don't still have their Star Wars toy collection.

A New Hope was followed by The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). George Lucas, who created the world of Star Wars, took audiences to places they had never been before. Forty years later the original trilogy is still capturing the hearts and minds of children as well as adults. From 1999 to 2005, the prequel trilogy was released. These films had mixed reviews but brought back the energy and excitement of the franchise.

In 2015, the sequel trilogy began with the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This film brought back the beloved cast of the first trilogy, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca. James Earl Jones even reprised his vocal talents as Darth Vader. Force Awakens was very much a throwback to the first trilogy films. It made us laugh, cry and truly enjoy the enigmatic storytelling and cinematography.

If you're a Star Wars fan then this quiz is for you. See if you can use your Jedi skills to score a 100%. The goal is to match the film quote to the correct Star Wars franchise film. Be mindful not to assume the picture is from the correct film either. May the Force be with you.
