Can You Match The Flag To The Country In Less Than Two Minutes?

When I decided to take up Geography during my time at school, my assumption was that we'd be talking all about flags, countries and where everything is located. Unfortunately for me that didn't wind up being the case, but enough about erosion and all that fun stuff - because today we're going to talk about flags until we're blue in the face.

Flags serve as the symbol of (sometimes) excellence for every single country on the face of the planet, and they can take on a variety of different shapes and forms. Interestingly enough not everyone is all too proud to wave their flag around and declare themselves a patriot, because there can often be secrets hidden deep within the core of any given country that makes supporting them feel a little bit wrong.

Anyway, back to the flags. Not everyone is as invested in flags as the diehards, but that isn't what we're here for. We want to see whether or not people have been paying attention, whether it be to the television, a film they may have been watching out of the corner of their eye or perhaps even the news.

Learning the flags of different countries may not seem like the most important or even necessary thing to do in the world, but you never know when it could come in handy.

The answer to 'when will it come in handy' could be never, or who knows, it could be during a geography exam you didn't revise for.
