Chances are you know where your favorite celebrity grew up or who they are currently dating, but it takes someone with an impeccable memory to actually remember how old their favorite celebrity is. Or how their age compares to their most recent co-star or significant other.
Even though it only takes a simple Google search to figure out how old these actors, models, and musicians are, age isn't something that celebrities often talk about. Especially considering that Hollywood notoriously favors the young and attractive, and the industry too easily pushes older actors, and particularly actresses, out of the limelight simply because of their age.
What may also come as a shock is just how much many of these celebrities have already accomplished before the age of 30! Or even 25! Just when you thought you were getting your life on track and finally getting a handle on this being adult thing you find out that Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for an Academy Award at the age of 20. Or that Ariana Grande released her debut music album (which hit number one on the charts, by the way) before she was even allowed to legally order an alcoholic beverage.
But before we bum you out too much, let's see if you can pick out which one of these celebrities is older!
Who’s older: Kit Harington or Sophie Turner?
Both Kit Harington and Sophie Turner star as Jon Snow and Sansa Stark on the hit HBO series Game of Thrones where they play half-brother and sister. However, we’ve recently learned that Jon isn’t Sansa’s half-brother at all but rather her cousin. While both British born actors gained mainstream attention for their appearances on this show, Harington has been acting professionally for a few years longer than Turner. So do you know which “child” of Ned Stark is oldest in real life?
Who’s older: Chris Pratt or Anna Faris?
Just recently, when the news that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris were splitting up, fans everywhere took to the Internet to proclaim that if these two couldn’t make it work, then the rest of us are doomed. While we certainly shouldn’t put that sort of pressure on them, it is an odd thing when two seemingly king hearted people can no longer make it work. But hopefully, the two can smooth things out for the sake of their kid, and they can continue to turn out enjoyable TV and movies for their fans to enjoy.

The two Chris’s of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: We’re sure you know which one plays Captain America and which one plays Thor, but do you know which actor is 2 years older than the other? But today, both entertainers are amidst the most popular of their generation, and while they’re both known for being singers, they’ve both begun to branch out into film work, with a few producing credits also thrown into the mix.

Seth Rogan and James Franco go together like peanut butter and jelly. Which is probably why the two comedic actors keep popping up in movies together. Who would’ve thought that any one could have replaced Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart for the roles of Magneto and Professor X in the X-Men series? While both actors can pull off a convincing American accent, they’re actually both original from Europe, with McAvoy hailing from Scotland and Fassbender coming from Ireland, but which actor is two years older than the other.

However, both young men were able to overcome their burdensome upbringings, going on to be two of the most successful actors in Hollywood of their generation while continue to represent their home city of Boston through multiple film roles.

Despite their massive celebrity, both Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp have the distinct ability to slip into the skin of widely different characters and make the audience forget that they’re even watching a Hollywood star. Though Depp’s career has been a bit rocky in recent years as a result of some financial difficulties, hopefully, his appearance in the upcoming Murder on the Orient Express will prove to be a much-needed revitalization. Meanwhile, DiCaprio is set to star in another mob-based movie called The Black Hand come 2018.

Gosling got his start in acting back in 1993, where he briefly appeared as a member of the Mickey Mouse Club, but wouldn’t reach mainstream success until nearly a decade later with The Notebook. Born and raised in Tennessee until the age of 10, Megan Fox’s first step toward stardom was winning several modeling awards that eventually lead her to her feature film debut at just the age of 15. From there, Fox became best known for starring alongside Shia LaBeouf in the original Transformers trilogy. Meanwhile, Blake Lively was born right in Los Angeles County and would be starring in movies when she was just 11 years old. Later this year, Lively is set to star in a Marc Forester film titled All I See is You, which will be out in September.
