Can You Guess The Person's Gender At Birth?

Appearances can be deceiving, as the old saying goes, “You cannot judge a book by its cover.” This quiz is a mind bender because it asks a simple question; can you tell what genitalia a person had when they were born simply by looking at their current photo?

In many of the photos, transgender people are shown. “Transgender” is an all-inclusive term that includes: 1) transsexuals, who are people who want to be the opposite sex of the gender they were born as; 2) transvestites, who like to dress up as the opposite sex of their birth; 3) those of non-specific gender such as hermaphrodites (also known as “intersex”) who are persons born with both female and male genitalia, and; 4) those who simply do not want to be gender-identified as either male or female.

The key to being successful at this quiz is to understand that how a person looks in the photos may match their genitalia at birth or it may not. They may have the same genitalia as when they were born or they may have undergone a sexual reassignment surgery. They may have no desire whatsoever to change their sexual organs and simply enjoy dressing up in the opposite gender’s clothes.

With that explanation in mind, are you ready for the gender-bender mind-bender? Here are 25 questions to see how good you are at guessing the gender that a person had assigned to them at birth by looking at their photo. Because this quiz is guessing about photos, we have also included transgender fun facts with each question that are NOT directly related to that specific photo; otherwise, we would have to give away all the correct answers.
