We can sleep easy knowing that there are plenty of superheroes in the world ready to save us from the worst villains on the planet, or in the universe. Okay, maybe not those kinds of superheroes, but comic books have given us some amazing humans and aliens who do some extraordinary things, and their side job is just doing that little thing like saving the planet. And sometimes, the threat becomes so big and too much for just one superhero to handle so they have to call on their friends and join a team and battle together to save the world from the worst of the worst.
So which team is the best of them all? Who has the best super-skills, the best teammates, the best strategy to rid the planet of evil villains? Take this quiz and select the best superheroes available. Form a team, call on alliances and see who would be protected Earth if the evils of the universe were to come to our doorstep. There are a lot of great superhero teams in the world and beyond who will answer the call, so just pick and pass on the best heroes to see who would be the team to save Earth.
Iron Man?
Something about being rich helps people become superheroes, and Tony Stark is no different, except he is a genius and created the Iron Man suit himself and has perfected it over the years with many different additions to the flying metal hero.
Batman?
Batman doesn’t have super powers like some heroes do, but he has plenty of gadgets that have helped him defeat his enemies and save Gotham more than once. His Batsuite, the Tumbler and the Batcopter are just a few of the gadgets he can use in a fight.
Thor?
Thor is a God, what more could anyone want from a superhero on their team? The God of Thunder holds the mighty hammer known as Mjolnir that brings the lightning down on Thor’s enemies, while also giving him incredible strength and the ability to fly.
Superman?
The Man of Steel would be a great leader and selection to save the world as Superman is one of the strongest superheroes ever created with the ability to fly, stop bullets, use his eyes to melt and breath to cool. He has very few weaknesses and only wants to protect.
Captain America?
Want a leader who can’t be corrupted and always has the mission on his mind? Pick Captain America, Steve Rogers as the perfect leader for a superhero team, as he already has experience of being a leader and taking down some of the worst villains in history.
Spider Man?
Everyone’s friendly neighborhood Spiderman would make an excellent team member as he is already used to saving one of the largest cities in the world, New York City, from someone of the worst villains with his web slinging ability and spider-senses.
Aquaman?
Aquaman would be a team member that gives you the ability to bring the battle to the sea, as he can mind control the animals in the ocean and have them help him in a battle. Imagine all the sharks, whales and dolphins on your team’s side along with Aquaman.
Hulk?
Sometimes, brute force is what is needed, and the Hulk is the perfect superhero for the job. The great thing about the Hulk is, not only is an amazing hero when he is mad, but when he is just regular Bruce Banner, he’s still a super genius as well, so it’s a two-for-one deal.
Ant-Man?
Don’t judge a superhero by their size, as Ant Man can be the smallest hero in the fight, or in some cases, the largest. His ability to shrink down to ant size lets him get into some pretty small spaces, but if needed, Ant Man can grow to be a giant and smash his was to a victory.
Iron Patriot?
Most people would consider a military man like James Rhodes to be a hero already, since he didn’t need a suit to jump into a battle. But when he took over an older Iron Man suit and made it into the Iron Patriot, he became the next level of military hero that would be a great team selection.
Wonder Woman?
This woman doesn’t need any help to fight her battles, as Wonder Woman is one of the most capable superheroes in the world that can definitely bring her own fight. The ambassador to the Amazon people has plenty of tricks up her sleeve to win in a fight.
Star-Lord?
Star-Lord already knows how to be a leader on a team, as that is what he does with the Guardians of the Galaxy, but the half-alien, half-human is also a valuable team member who defends an entire galaxy, so saving a single planet should come as a cake walk to him.
Wolverine?
Wolverine has the ability to heal himself rapidly from injury, so he never backs down from a fight and always gets back up and gets into it. Because of this ability, he can heal himself when his Adamantium-plated claws come out of his hands.
Gamora?
Gamora is one of the toughest women in the universe and she had to learn a lot from the worst, as her step-father, Thanos, destroyed her home world and took her as his step-daughter. She turned on him and joined the good guys to get revenge for her family.
The Flash?
Don’t blink or The Flash may disappear. In fact, he’s so fast that there is even a debate about who is faster between him and Superman, with most saying it’s The Flash. With his physics-defying speed, The Flash is a hero not to be passed on.
Supergirl?
Supergirl would be a great choice for a superhero team because you get a second hero of steel, with the same abilities as her cousin Superman. Both get their powers from the sun, and she has the same speed, strength and abilities as her super-cousin.
Groot?
Don’t expect to have a compelling conversation with Groot, as all he can say is ‘I am Groot’, which does mean something in his language, it’s just hard to understand. But with his tree-like ability to grow his arms and use his roots and branches, he’s a strong hero that would be a great selection.
Green Lantern?
There have been multi Green Lantern’s in history, which means the super ability can be passed on and used by more than one person, leaving the door open to always have a Green Lantern on the team. Though he does need to charge his powerful ring in the lantern to gain his powers back.
Black Widow?
Black Widow is perhaps the best master at hand-to-hand combat. The former Russian spy Natasha Romanoff turned over to S.H.I.E.L.D. and despite not having any super powers or super gadgets, is one of the fiercest fighters on a team, using her spy ability to help.
Black Panther?
Black Panther is the king of the Wakanda people and uses their amazing technology to construct a suit that is near indestructible. The wealthy nation looks up to their king to protect them and through rituals and science, Black Panther is a superhero to have on a team.
Cyclops?
Make sure Cyclops always has his glasses on his face, or else the powerful energy beams will come out of his eyes, but other than that, there isn’t any reason to pass on this great mutant who is a born leader and is always on the side of the good guys.
Winter Soldier?
It took just a little reprograming to make the Winter Soldier remember that he wasn’t an enemy of Captain America, but instead one of his best friends from back in World War 2. Now that he’s on the same team, Bucky Barnes and cybernetic arm are a great choice for a team.
Doctor Strange?
Doctor Strange started off as a regular doctor but turned himself into one of the most powerful Sorcerer’s in the universe. He brings the ability to perform magic spells to help a team win a battle, which could come in handy against the worst villains.
Storm?
Sometimes perfect weather for a fight would be great. Other times, the weather work with your team is better, so get Storm on the team and get a mutant that has the ability to control the weather, while also getting one that is a leader in the waiting.
Drax the Destroyer?
Drax the Destroyer is another brute force superhero who may not always have the best intentions with his mind set on revenge, but he means well and is a great team member who will never run away from the worst fight on any world.
Loki?
Poor Loki wants to be a bad guy, mostly because he was the adopted brother of Thor and always played second string to his step-brother. But when he does good, or at least tries, he can be a great asset to the team with his magical abilities and Asgardian powers.
Martian Manhunter?
The great thing about Martian Manhunter is his ability to transform himself into any other person, so if needed, your team can have two of the same hero if J’onn J’onzz doesn’t live up to the standard. But the powerful flying alien from Mars should have no issue in a fight.
Hawkeye?
Not all superheroes wear capes and Hawkeye is the perfect example of that, as he doesn’t have any super powers but instead, has the ability as an excellent marksman with his bow and arrow that come with plenty of surprises in them.
Robin
Just because he’s young, doesn’t mean Robin can’t be a great member to the team. Robin, the boy-wonder has learned from one of the best in Batman and is ready to take his place on any team. As a sidekick he already knowns how to work with someone and not just alone.
Scarlett Witch?
Don’t let her villain days fool anyone into thinking Scarlett Witch isn’t an amazing superhero, as she has great magical powers that have become a great asset. She can alter reality and is one of the most powerful heroes in the universe when on your side.
The Beast?
There is a time for diplomacy and there is a time a brute force. The Beast is who your team would want in both cases. As the representative for mutants across the world, The Beast has the political ability to stop a fight before it happens but can roll up his sleeves and get involved if needed.
Human Torch?
Sometimes being involved in a science experiment has consequences, but sometimes those consequences have superhero abilities such as control fire, which is what happened to the Human Torch, who has the super ability to use fire.
Daredevil?
No one likes lawyers, unless of course, it’s Daredevil. Sure he might not be able to see, as he is blind, but he is a skilled hand-to-hand fighter that is capable of using his hyper senses to detect villains like a giant radar in his mind.
Vision?
Get a superhero with an Infinity Stone on him and get a very powerful hero. Vision is an android that was created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner and is powered by the Mind Stone and is so special as a hero, he’s the only non-Asgardian to be able to lift Thor’s hammer.
Jean Grey?
Perhaps the most powerful mutant of them all is Jean Grey, who can turn a little bad and become the Dark Phoenix, but otherwise is a great member to have on a superhero team as he telekinetic powers are very hard to match.
Thing?
More brute strength is never a bad thing, so add the Thing to the team and get someone who isn’t afraid to do a little clobbering. With skin like rock, it’s hard to take him down in a fight, so he will be a great asset to the strength of the team.
Green Arrow?
Another amazing marksman, the Green Arrow doesn’t have the same super powers as a normal superhero would have, but no one is turning away from him on their team. With plenty of trick arrows up his sleeve, there is no telling what he can’t do in a fight.
Rocket Racoon?
Even the smallest creatures can be superheroes. Just look at Rocket Racoon, who is actually an expert tactician at planning a battle and also one of the best marksman in the entire galaxy, who won’t shy away from a fight on his own.
Mr. Fantastic?
Mr. Fantastic may have taken his genius a little too far and turned his friends into superheroes, but he wouldn’t be the first genius to become the savior of the world, as Mr. Fantastic has the ability to stretch his body and become super elastic to save people.
Professor X?
Professor X may not get too involved in the battle, but he’s the perfect leader who can bring a team together and guide them to victory. He’s another genius and his telepathic abilities make him a danger to anyone who can’t stop his mind tricks.
Nick Fury?
Not every hero needs super powers to be a leader. Just look at Nick Fury, who has worked himself up to be one of the top agents in the secret military group known as S.H.I.E.L.D., who supervises plenty of superheroes who have a lot more power than he does.
Quicksilver?
Quicksilver is another hero that has lightning fast speed. It may be up for debate as to who is faster between Quicksilver and The Flash, as both are the fastest in their respected comic universes, but either way, it’s another hero who would be hard to slow down.
Falcon?
Falcon is another hero who has used technology to make himself a superhero, as Sam Wilson has strapped on a set of mechanical wings to give him the ability to fly and became a great friend and partner with his friend Steve Rogers.
Deadpool?
Not all superheroes are heroes as we know them. Some don’t play by the same rules and like to have a little fun. Select the anti-hero Deadpool if that is what you want to add to your team and get a great marksman and hand-to-hand fighter.
Luke Cage?
When someone gains super powers, they can do good in the world, or higher out their services. Luke Cage did just that, becoming a superhero for higher with the Iron Fist. But he also has something to prove considering he went to jail for a crime he didn’t do.
Wasp?
Want the power of Ant Man but with a little extra ability, such as the ability to fly? Take The Wasp on your superhero team and get the shrinking capabilities to get into small spaces, but also the ability to fly around.
Rogue?
Rogue has the ability to absorb from anyone, such as their memories, physical strength, or even their mutant powers, such as when she touches Wolverine to get his healing ability. She may have to be care who she touches, but there is no denying she has great powers.
Captain Marvel?
Perhaps the strongest superhero in the universe is one that is hardly talked about but comes with plenty of amazing powers. Captain Marvel has all the superhuman ability anyone could ask for, as well as she can fly and absorb energy.
Jessica Jones?
Some superheroes know when to put their powers away and Jessica Jones did just that. She had the ability to fly and had super strength, but has hid those powers away and now just continues her life as a private investigator.
Warriors Three?
Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg are all part of the Warriors Three, Asgardian warriors who help Thor in is battles, so splitting them up would be wrong. Having three more Asgardian Gods on your superhero team would never be a bad idea anyway.
