If you were born in the 1990's or even the 2000's, you have definitely heard of Pokémon. They are little creatures, that trainers can catch, evolve, train, battle, all to score the title of Pokémon Master! When the first game game out in 1996, it was a major success. Since this time, they have released seven generations of Pokémon, each with new species, or evolutions to old species! Every generation contains different starters, general Pokémon, legendary, and mythical species. They are totally sought after, and if you've played these games, you definitely want to fill up your Pokédex!

In the original set of games, you had to battle against gym leaders to earn badges, that led you to become a Pokémon Master. In the Kanto Region, there were eight different gyms, each housed a main type of Pokémon, with a different Gym Leader in control. The gyms were located in each city, including Pewter City, Cerulean City, Vermilion City, Celadon City, Fuchsia City, Saffron City, Cinnabar City, and Viridian City. With all of these badges, you were considered a Pokémon Master! Question 1

Pikachu

Pikachu is a Mouse Pokemon, that is an electric type. It evolves from Pichu when it levels up with a high friendship, and can be evolved into Raichu with a Thunder Stone. It is weak to ground type Pokemon, but resistant to flying, steel, and electric.

Bulbasaur

Bulbasaur is one of the three starter Pokemon from the Kanto Region. It is a combined grass and poison type. It will evolve into an Ivysaur at level 16, which will then evolve into a Venosaur at level 32. It is weak to flying, fire, psychic and ice types, but resistant to fighting, water, grass, electric, and fairy.

Mew

Mew is a Psychic type Mythical Pokemon from Generation 1. It does not evolve from or into any other Pokemon. It has a unique ability to learn every Technical Machine, Hidden Machine, or Move Tutor, and is the last Pokemon in the Kanto Dex.

Blastoise is a water type Pokemon that evolves from Wartortle at level 36, which evolves from Squirtle at level 16. It can also Mega Evolve into Mega Blastoise using the appropriate Mega Stone. It is weak to Grass and Electric types, but resistant to Steel, Fire, Water, and Ice types.

Flareon

Flareon is a fire type Pokemon, that evolves from Eevee when introduced to a Fire Stone. It is one of Eevee's final forms, along with other types including Vaporeon and Jolteon. It is weak to ground, rock, and water types, but resistant to bug, steel, fire, grass, ice, and fairy types.

Arbok

Arbok is a poison type Pokemon, that evolves from Ekans at level 22. It is weak to ground and psychic types, but resistant to fighting, poison, bug, grass, and fairy types. Jessie from Team Rocket had an Arbok, until it left with Weezing to protect other members of its species.

Aerodactyl

Aerodactyl is a Rock type Fossil Pokemon from Generation 1. It can be resurrected from an Old Amber, and is not able to evolve from or into any other Pokemon. It has the ability to Mega Evolve into Mega Aerodactyl using the appropriate Mega Stone. It is immune to ground types, and weak to rock, steel, water, electric, and ice types.

Hitmonlee

Hitmonlee is a Fighting type Pokemon from Generation 1. It evolves from Tyrogue beginning at level 20, when Tyrogue's attack is higher than its defense. It is one of Tyrogue's final forms, the others are Hitmonchan and Hitmontap. It is weak to flying, psychic, and fairy types, but resistant to rock, bug, and dark types.

Zapdos

Zapdos is a dual Electric and Flying type Pokemon from generation 1. It is one of three Ledendary birds from the Kanto region, the others being Articuno and Moltres. It is weak to rock and ice types, but immune to ground types, and resistant to fighting, flying, bug, steel, and grass types.

Slowbro is a dual type water and psychic Pokemon. It evolves from Slowpoke at level 37, and one of Slowpoke's final forms, the other is Slowking. Arcanine

Arcanine is a fire type Pokemon that evolves from Growlithe when introduced to a Fire Stone. It is weak to ground, rock, and water type Pokemon, but it is resistant to bug, steel, fire, grass, ice, and fairy types.

Gengar

Gengar is a dual Ghost and Poison type Pokemon. It evolves from Haunter when it is traded, which evolves into Gastly at level 25. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Gengar using the Gengarite. It is weak to ground, ghost, psychic, and dark types, and is resistant to poison, bug, grass, and fairy types.

Golem

Golem is a dual Rock and Ground type Pokemon. It evolves from Graveler when it is traded, and is the final form of Geodude. It has a regional variant in Alola, that is Rock and Electric. It is weak to fighting, ground, steel, water, grass, and ice types. It is immune to electric, and resistant to normal, flying, poison, rock, and fire types.

Dragonite

Dragonite is a dual Dragon and Flying Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon. It evolves from Dragonair at level 55, which evolves from Dratini at level 30. It is weak to rock, ice, dragon, and fairy types, but is immune to ground types, and resistant to fighting, but, fire, water, and grass types.

Dewgong

Dewgong is a dual water and ice type Pokemon that evolves from Seel beginning at level 34. In the series, Seel that belonged to the Cerulean Gym had evolved into Dewgong in one episode. It is weak to fighting, rock, grass, and electric types, and resistant to water and ice types.

Vileplume is a dual type grass and poison Pokemon. It evolves from Gloom when it is exposed to a Leaf Stone, which evolves from Oddish. It is one of Oddish's final stages, and the other is Bellossom. Vileplume is weak to flying, fire, psychic and ice types, but is resistant to fighting, water, grass, electric, and fairy types.

Alakazam

Alakazam is a psychic type Pokemon that evolves from Kadabra when it is traded, which evolves from Abra at level 16. Alakazam is able to Mega Evolve into Mega Alakazam using the right Mega Stone. It is weak to bug, ghost, and dark type Pokemon, but resistant to fighting and psychic types.

Cloyster

Cloyster is a dual type water and ice Pokemon. It evolves from Shellder when it is introduced to a Water Stone. It is weak to fighting, rock, grass, and electric type Pokemon. Cloyster is resistant to water and ice type Pokemon.

Moltres

Moltres is one of the three Legendary Birds in the Kanto Region. It is a dual fire and flying type, that does not evolve from or into another Pokemon. It is weak to rock, water, and electric type Pokemon, but is immune to ground types, and resistant to fighting, bug, steel, fire, grass, and fairy type Pokemon.

Nidoqueen

Nidoqueen is a dual poison and ground type that evolves from Nidorina when it is exposed to a Moon Stone. It is also the final form of Nidoran (female). It is week to ground, water, psychic, and ice types Pokemon, but is immune to electric, and resistant to fighting, poison, rock, bug, and fairy types.

Onix

Onix is a dual type rock and ground Pokemon, that can evolve into Steelix when it is traded holding a Metal Coat, and does not evolve from any other Pokemon. It is known primarily due to Brock and his Onix on the series, with whom he struggles to tame. Onix is weak to fighting, ground, steel, water, grass and ice types. It is immune to electric types, and resistant to normal, flying, poison, rock, and fire types.

Mr. Mime

Mr. Mime is a dual type Psychic and Fairy Pokemon. It was originally Psychic only, but changed after generation six. It evolves from Mime Jr., when it is leveled up while knowing the move Mimic. It is weak to poison, ghost, and steel types, but immune to dragon, and resistant to fighting and psychic types.

Poliwrath

Poliwrath is a dual water and fighting type Pokemon. It evolves from Poliwhirl when it is exposed to a Water Stone, which evolves from Poliwag at level 25. It is one of Poliwag's final stages, and the other is Politoed. It is weak to flying, fairy, grass, electric, and psychic types. It is resistant to rock, bug, steel, fire, water, ice, and dark types.

Golbat is a dual poison and flying type Pokemon. It evolves from Zubat beginning at level 22, and can evolve into Crobat when it is leveled up with a high friendship. Raticate is a normal type Pokemon that evolves from Rattate beginning at level 20. Electabuzz is an electric type that evolves from Elekid beginning at level 30. it can evolve into Electivire when it is traded while holding an Electirizer. This Pokemon appears in power plants to search for electricity. They are weak to ground types, but resistant to flying, steel, and electric types.

Weezing is a poison type Pokemon that evolves from Koffing beginning at level 35. They live and grow by absorbing dust, germs, and poison gases that are contained in toxic waste and garbage.
