Sadly, even the dream house owners have to get to work some way. So what mode of transportation will you be using? Planes, trains and automobiles are all good options. But what makes the most sense for your daily commute? How do you picture yourself arriving at the office each morning?
What kind of house?
Let's start with something easy. What kind of house are you envisioning? Is it even a house? Maybe you're more of an apartment person. Does it have a few storeys or is it all one level? Is it new and totally modern or old and original? When people drive up to your house or walk outside it, what are they thinking?

Knock knock. Who's there? Your front door makes a big impression and says a lot about your home. It's the thing you walk through after a long day at the office. And once you're through it, you're home. So what does your front door look like? Is it heavy? Is it colorful? Do you have a doorbell?

Okay, let's talk about your green thumb. When it comes to the greenery in your dream home, what sort of plants are we looking at? Are you the type who has a plant or twelve in every room or do you prefer to limit yourself to just one or two? Do you like green plants or something more colorful?
What color is on the walls?
Of course, you don't have to paint every room in your dream home the exact same color. But what's the main color going to be? When you first walk into your home, what color greets you as you walk through the door? What color is your main hallway and living spaces?
What's that smell?
When you open up your window, what's the first scent that hits your nose? Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Inhale. What's that smell? Now, because this is a dream house, we can assume that you won't be smelling any dumpsters or things like that. All smells you enjoy will be absolutely wonderful!

This is your dream kitchen. So you know it's going to be good. But we have to start with the basics. What is the number one thing you need to have in a kitchen? Without this thing, you're going to walk. You'll close the door and sell the house. This is your kitchen must-have!
Choose a backsplash
Okay, it's time to pick a backsplash. This is the background of your kitchen. It connects your upper cabinets to your counters and lower cabinets. It's a place for you to add some of your personality and show off what you love in your kitchen. Go big and bold or subtle and small. Add lots of details or none at all.
What sofa is best?
Let's move into your living room. What do you want people to sit on? Is it an inviting couch that makes people want to sit there all day and watch movies? Is it something more hard and formal? What about the color? Or the style? What sofa speaks to you?
TV or no TV?
It's time to settle the great debate: to TV or to not TV? Do you want a television and, if so, where are you putting it? Do you like to have a TV in every room? Do you need a big screen that goes wall to wall in the living room? Or do you prefer books to the TV?

Let's walk into your master bedroom. Now, of course, you could have almost anything in your master. This is your dream house after all. But every master bedroom has to have a bed. What's your bed going to look like? What colors are you using? Is it all about comfort or aesthetic?

It's your dream house so it's time to dream big. We've already figured out how many rooms you want and what kind of bed. Now it's time to have some fun. What extra are you adding to your master bedroom? What would make it totally you and make all of your friends jealous?

Rub a dub dub, are you the owner of a tub? Sure, since it's your dream house you could probably have any kind of tub or shower that you want. But what would be your first choice? Or what's the one you're going to use every single day to get clean and relax?

Okay, now let's wander out onto your balcony. In a house as gorgeous as yours, you want the outside living to be as good as the inside. So when it comes to designing and outfitting your balcony, what's the first thing you're putting out there? What would make the ideal balcony for you?
