Eagle eyed fans who stayed until the end of 2014’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, saw a gin guzzling anthropomorphic duck speaking to Tanaleer Tivan. You could catch him again during Vol. 2, drinking on Contraxia. While that little duck might seem like a throwaway character, you'd be wrong. The little guy actually has the distinction of being the first ever non-serial, theatrically released Marvel picture in 1986.
Things have come completely full circle for the old “House Of Ideas.” Now with most of their characters all under Disney, just about every character you could think of could show up in another hero’s story, making the world seem that much cooler. Even fuller circle when you realize George Lucas has a big hand in bringing Howard to the screen in ‘86, and now Disney owns both properties.
With Avengers: Infinity War now out in theaters, throngs of members of the Merry Marvel Marching Society have been packing theaters, the film was number one for three weeks. Have You Seen Howard The Duck (1986)?
Howard the Duck is a 27-year-old happy little duckling just chilling on Duckworld. He gets interrupted while reading Playduck as an Earthquake seemingly occurs, sending him hurtling into space until he crash-lands in Cleveland, Ohio. He immediately saves aspiring singer Beverly Schweitzer from some thugs. While marooned on the planet the guy has to help stop an invasion from the Dark Overlords Of The Universe.

Frank Castle and his family were ordered dead in a mob hit. The family was a success, Castle not so much. He has killed 125 criminals over the past five years and lives in the sewers. When the mob try to unite, the Yakuza take control and kidnap the mafia children. Their one hope - the very man who has been executing them, the Punisher.
Have You Seen The Fantastic Four (1994)?
Every now and then, even though a movie never sees the light of day, a heck of a lot of people do actually get to check it out. Produced by Roger Corman, the origin of the Fantastic Four was supposed to a launching pad for the franchise, but instead was just the first of many (many, many) failed attempts at launching Marvel’s first family.

Arguably the most popular superhero team ever, the X-Men made their big screen debut fighting none other than their mentor’s old friend Magneto, who is leading his own Brotherhood of Mutants. Somehow a young mutant, Rogue fits in with his master plan, and Wolverine has sworn to keep her safe.

After DC’s Superman and Batman, the most well-known superhero has got to be Marvel’s favorite friendly neighborhood Spiderman, right? In his first cinematic adventure, we meet high school senior Peter Parker, right as his life is about to change forever. As a full-blown superhero, he has to stop New York from being torn asunder by his greatest rival, the Green Goblin.

There's a new breed of vampire out there - the Reapers; and they're hunting other vampires turning them into Reapers. They also don’t have any weaknesses except for daylight. A group of vamps, known as the Blood Pack are forced to team up with Blade to stop this new threat once and for all.

He's a lawyer by day fighting for justice. He's a vigilante at night bringing justice to those who escaped it in the courtroom. After a businessman, Nicholas Natchios tries to severe ties with the Kingpin, he sends his assassin Bullseye after him. The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen has to stop Bullseye and Nicholas’ daughter Elektra from killing the Irishman.

When a lone mutant assassin guns for the president it sets off a chain of events that will unite both friends and foes against a powerful clandestine government agency - one that also has ties to Wolverine. Meanwhile, Jean is trying to control her powers, but a Phoenix is rising in the best chapter in the original X-Men trilogy.
Have You Seen Hulk (2003)?
The experimentation was still there, Bruce Banner and his ex-girlfriend / research partner Betty Ross trying to find a cure was still there, too. But Ang Lee’s version of Hulk played like a melodrama between abusive father and his son…who thanks to dad’s experimenting turns the kid into a big green rage monster, instead of Bruce accidentally doing it to himself.
Have You Seen The Punisher (2004)?
Over ten years after the character’s first cinematic outing, the origin story remains the same with the added caveat this time - it’s Frank’s entire family slaughtered at a family reunion. He goes after the perpetrators and their boss, mob boss / money launderer, Howard Saint. This adaptation takes its material form the popular story “Welcome Back, Frank.”

Peter might have found an intellectual mentor in Dr. Otto Octavius. Too bad he also is a mad scientist and thanks to a horrific accident now has four mechanical arms, turning him into Dr. Octopus. It was bound to happen eventually. Make enough noise about bloodsucking fiends and you're going to gain a few followers. Blade and Whistler gain allies in the form of the Nightstalkers; the old man’s daughter, Abigail and Hannibal King. Their greatest threat lies before them as Blade does battle with Dracula.
Have You Seen Elektra (2005)?
Sometimes, dying is just a formality. For Elektra Nachios, it's just a part of life. Now working as an assassin, the beautiful killer must protect a man and his daughter from the mystical group of ninjas known as the Hand and the just as deadly Typhoid Mary. If you thought Daredevil was bad, you're not going to think very highly of this film.

Marvel’s first family makes their official theatrical debut. In a retelling of their origin, the group is shuttled into space to research quantum clouds that scientist Reed Richards thinks could hold the key to evolution. He is joined by Susan Storm, her brother Johnny, best friend Ben Grimm, and benefactor/frenemy Victor Von Doom. They all come back changed and the initial four friends have to put a stop to Dr. Doom.

After averting imminent disaster at Alkalai Lake, Jean Grey’s powers are surging like a…Phoenix. Meanwhile on the other coast of the country, a cure for the X-Gene has been found. The entire Marvel Cinematic Universe begins when arms dealer Tony Stark is held captive by terrorists, builds himself a giant suit of armor and fights his way out. Upon returning, he lets his business partner, Obadiah Stane know that Stark is out of the weapons game, which doesn't sit well with Stane at all.

Bruce Banner has been on the run for quite some time now looking for a cure for his affliction - turning into a big green rage monster. He is helped by his love and partner, Betty Ross. He's also hunted down by her father General Thunderbolt Ross, who gives a modified version of the formula that turned Bruce to a soldier, Emil Blonsky, turning him into an Abomination in the process.

Frank Castle, still at large as the vigilante, the Punisher waged war on the crime family headed up by Jigsaw. The Punisher Task Force is also gunning for him. It's the Punisher and his partner, Microchip against the world, especially after inadvertently killing an undercover agent, deep in with Jigsaw’s crew.

In late 1800’s Canada, Young James Howlett’s mutant genes reveal themselves - he's got a healing factor and bone claws that protrude from his hands. He and his brother, Victor fight in just about every war of the 20th Century before partnering up with a government funded team of mutants. But betrayal, murder, and a bad plot line make this first Wolverine movie as forgettable as Wolverine’s memories.

The sins of the father they say. Ivan Vanko, looking to get revenge for Tony Stark’s father did to his own builds his own suit of armor and attacks Tony in Monte Carlo. Rival industrialist Justin Hammer partners up with Vanko to take Stark down. James Rhodes becomes the War Machine and a certain red-headed spy/assassin makes her debut in the second Iron Man adventure.

Speaking of World Wars, puny Steve Rogers volunteers for a hyper experimental program to help America fight the Nazis. He becomes a symbol for the American public before leading the Howling Commandos on the battlefield to try and stop Hitler and Johann Schmidt, the Red Skull and HYDRA from gaining control of the Cosmic Cube.
Have You Seen Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance (2011)?
Johnny Blaze has been living in exile for a few years now, trying to keep the Rider from coming out. Any infraction, including small white lies forces the Ghost Rider out of hiding. A priest named Moreau seeks out the Rider to help him save a boy named Danny, who somehow holds the key to possibly ridding Johnny of the Rider and helping stop the devil from gaining power on Earth.

It falls on deaf ears though as Stark is attacked and flees to countryside, where he is stranded and teams up with some kid to help fix his suit.

Living as a hermit in the Canadian wilderness, Logan is steal harboring guilt over Jean Grey’s death. When a dying man, whose life Logan saved during WWII calls on the Wolverine to pay him a visit in Japan, it sets off a chain of events that will leave Logan with no healing factor and on the edge of death himself.

After helping Tony Stark against Captain America, all Peter Parker wants to do is get back in the fight. He gets his chance when Adrian Toombs, his Vulture flight suit, and his crew are committing robberies using tech found from when the Chitauri invaded New York. As for Parker’s high school life? The guy’s would-be girlfriend is Toombs’ daughter, Liz.

Thanos has already got the Power stone and obliterates Thor’s ship to get the Space stone. The Reality stone is with the Collector on Knowhere and Vision and Strange have the Mind and Time stones respectively. It has all come to this - ten years of adventures and eighteen films have brought the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe together to wage war with the Mad Titan and try to stop him from collecting of the Infinity Stones and wiping out half of existence with the snap of his fingers.
