A True Fan Of The Shows Can Tell If This Secondary Character Is From Buffy Or Supernatural

Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Supernatural have a lot in common, even though Buffy ended a couple of years before Supernatural hit our screens. Both series deal with demons and monsters, whether those are vampires, werewolves, or something else altogether. There are wise old father figures for the lead characters, romances with the demons that they are supposed to be killing, battles with gods and legends, deaths and resurrections, witches and helpful demons, and even a group of stuffy Brits who think that they know everything there is to know about the job that the main character are actually doing!

With so many similarities, it can be hard for any but the most devoted fan to know when a monster or a minor character was in Buffy The Vampire Slayer or if they made their small screen appearance in Supernatural. Can you correctly place these various secondary characters in the correct series with just a photo and a short description... even when at least one of the actors has actually appeared in both series over the years? Are you enough of a fan of these series about things that go bump in the night to get all of these correct, or do you struggle when it comes to placing any but the biggest characters, like Dean, Sam, or Buffy herself? Take our quiz to find out!

Question 1

Which series features this friendly demon?

While the main characters on both Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Supernatural spend most of their time trying to kill demons, that doesn't mean that every single demon that they encounter is actually evil. Question 2

Which series created this evil preacher?

She is also played by Felicia Day, who has appeared in both Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Supernatural in her career.

Question 7

Which series includes this troublemaking warlock?

As well as witches, there are warlocks in the worlds of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Supernatural - and they are often out to use magic for their own nefarious ends. This warlock, Ethan Rayne, knew one of the other main characters during their own rebellious phase, and turns up every now and then to cause a little magical chaos. Despite this, there is something almost charming about Ethan, even though he is basically happy to do evil as long as it's fun...

Question 8

Which series involves this friendly werewolf?

God is a pretty huge concept for most TV shows to tackle, but in these fantasy universes, gods and demons are par for the course - even God himself. In this series, God appeared first as an author, who wrote the adventures of the main characters as a series of novels, and claimed to be able to do so as a prophet. Question 19

More than one God shows up in the universes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Supernatural - including the evil God Glory. Glory appears in the form of a beautiful but spoiled woman most of the time, although she is also trapped much of the time within the human form of a man named Ben. Who battled the sleazy Dick Roman?

Dick Roman was definitely a formidable enemy to the main characters on this show. He wasn't the real Dick Roman, of course. This was actually a Leviathan, posing as Dick Roman in order to use his connections in the human world... to eventually enslave humanity and use them for meat for the rest of his Leviathan brethren. Of course, the main characters were able to stop making jokes about his name long enough to stop him, but it wasn't easy.

Question 23

Which show included a demonic mayor?

Both Buffy and the Winchesters are in need of some father figures later on in their respective series, and both get it.
