To many wrestling fans, the Attitude Era is and always will be viewed as the best time the wrestling business has ever seen. That particular period of wrestling is largely seen as coming to an unofficial end in 2002, and then eventually we would see the ushering in of what was known as the Ruthless Aggression days.
Now, while the late-'90s saw the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Mankind and The Undertaker ruling the roost, the 2000s saw a new generation of superstars entering the fray. Of course, some of those aforementioned names were still involved in the in-ring action on a regular basis, but this was a time where so many stepped up to the plate to try and make a name for themselves. And as ever, some of these hopefuls would go on to become the flag-bearers of the future, while others would flounder and stutter as they unfortunately faded in to oblivion.
