60% Of Lord Of The Rings Fans Can't Name These Characters From Just 3 Hints

In The Lord of the Rings, all of the characters are highly distinct. From the dwarves to the Elves, every individual in the story has their own background, a unique personality and their own personal reasons for joining the fight against Sauron. But all of the characters share a drive to do good, one powerful enough to motivate the Fellowship across all of Middle Earth and drive them to victory. Even the most astute of Tolkien scholars have a tough time naming all of the characters, given how many different books there are and how detailed Tolkien's descriptions can become.

But most fans of The Lord of the Rings can pick out the most central characters to the story from a lineup. We've seen them enough times, whether in marathons of the movies (extended versions, of course) or on posters in comic book stores. But what if that visual lineup were taken away and replaced with nothing but three hints? Without a visual to go off of, it can be difficult to pick out who is who, but true Tolkien fans should be able to figure out to which character from The Lord of the Rings each of the following hints refer.
