50 Original Pokemon Every True Fan Will Be Able To Name

The Pokémon video games let the player play as a Pokémon Trainer, someone who lives in the region that each specific game is set in and travel around the region in order to catch, train, and battle Pokémon. Pokémon are fictional creatures created for the franchise that each have their own unique abilities. In the Pokémon games, wild Pokémon can be found out in the world and other Pokémon Trainers in the games will battle the player as they roam around the region.

The Pokémon franchise was launched with a total of 151 original Pokémon in the Pokédex but since then, the number of Pokémon has expanded significantly. To date, there are a total of over 800 Pokémon!
