30 Songs Every '90s Kid Knows By Heart

It is an old cliché, but it's definitely true.  Music is the soundtrack of our lives.  Music is unique and it is individual.  Music can take us anywhere we want to go and it absolutely can take us anywhere we've already been.  Music is an emotional trigger that touches us deep inside, like nothing else can.  The melody or tempo of a particular song propel years into the past.  While one song may make you feel like you're in roller skates again at the local rink; the very next one can bring tears to your eyes as you're quickly reminded of a relationship that ended painfully. There are very few external stimulants that can bring back memories and sentiments as rapidly and as vividly as music can.

Some of us will never forget the popular tunes of our own generation.  Yet, others utterly love the sound from the decades that came before them.  Whatever the time period may be, or whichever era happens to be your favorite, and no matter what anyone tells you, there is no wrong answer to the question: "What kind of songs do you like best?"  Yes, people will always have conflicting opinions, but the honest truth is that we're all human, we're all different, and we all think that our music is the best music.
