Every hero has a story. Most of them begin their lives as ordinary people, but when something serious or unique happen to them, they are faced with a new decision or opportunity to acquire something different in life. They get the chance to become superheroes and save the world.
Each hero holds a different tale in the process. One might still be a normal person, but after a painful tragedy chose to gird up their loins and fight the good fight. One might've been born with superpowers but had to learn various lessons to use them properly. Whatever the origin may be, the point remains that circumstances motivate how a hero works.
