'90s music was a cultural phenomenon that popularized new genres and helped shape the music industry into what it is today. Teen pop, dance-pop, and hip hop had a re-introduction that would make them quickly catch on. Urban music in general was not as well known in the '80s and was emerging, but didn't come into full-blown popularity until the '90s.

Without music from the '90s we wouldn't have had boy-bands, such as N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys, who became the inspiration for groups such as One Direction.

The methods for obtaining music has greatly expanded since the '90s. People would almost exclusively listen to music on the radio and from purchased albums in the form of "CDs" bought at stores. People would even use these impractical things called "cassette tapes" to record music they would later listen to.

In the modern era we are fortunate enough to have access to an abundance of music apps. These apps contain gigantic libraries of songs. Some of these include: Pandora, Shazam, Spotify, YouTube, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, and more. Luckily most of theses apps include '90s music that we still listen to today.

In this quiz you will complete song lyrics. How well do you know the hit songs of the '90s? Good Luck!
