Hollywood loves to play up the different stereotypes associated with high school students and they have been known to go to extremes in order to truly get the character to adhere to their specific category. From the nerds with the tape holding their glasses together to the jocks that can hardly hold a conversation, it's interesting how far Hollywood will go to try and get the characters to fit into a neat little stereotypical package. While you may not have been so extreme in your own high school persona, that doesn't mean that you didn't lean more in one direction or another.
While you may not have been the Valedictorian of your high school, you may have had the tendency to stay in on the weekend to study rather than sneak out with an older sibling's fake license. While you may not have been the quarterback of the football team, you may have preferred the athletic teams in your school rather than the chess team. While you may not have dropped out of high school during your freshman year, that doesn't mean that you didn't skip out of some of your classes on occasion.
